WALTER KANSTEINER IS APPOINTED TO THE PRESIDENT'S HELPING TO ENHANCE THE LIVELIHOOD OF PEOPLE (HELP) AROUND THE GLOBE COMMISSION

President George W. Bush announced his intention to appoint the following individuals to be members of the Helping to Enhance the Livelihood of People (HELP) Around the Globe Commission, for the life of the commission:

Carol Craigle Adelman of Virginia
Mary K. Bush of Maryland
Glenn Estess of Alabama
C. Boyden Gray of the District of Columbia, and upon appointment designate Chairman
Carla Hills of the District of Columbia
Walter H. Kansteiner of Virginia

The HELP Commission was created by the U.S. Congress to identify barriers to the effective delivery of aid to developing nations and to devise new approaches to ensure assistance reaches those most in need.
