Lawrence J. Twill
As a Senior Advisor to the Scowcroft Group, Lawrence Twill advises on a wide variety of investment strategies and decisions, including efforts to raise and invest capital, allocate assets, and structure debt and equity transactions. Mr. Twill is Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Ashwood Capital, a private merchant bank that has acted as a principal investor and provider of advisory services since 1991. Mr. Twill was a founding investor and advisor to JetBlue Airways and continues to serve as Senior Advisor to JetBlue’s Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Twill has extensive experience in investment banking. He was a Managing Director of Peers & Co., a merchant bank and subsidiary of Kemper Securities, Inc., and served as Executive Vice President, Investment Banking, at the Long Term Credit Bank of Japan. He was a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of Bateman, Eichler, Hill, Richards, Inc., another subsidiary of Kemper Securities, Inc. Mr. Twill served on the Security Industry Association's Corporate Finance Committee and Small Firms Committee. He was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Woolcott & Company, a boutique investment bank. Additional positions have included Managing Director, Institutional Services, at Faherty and Faherty, Vice President of The First Boston Corporation, and Vice President of Paine Webber, Inc.

Mr. Twill has served in a number of capacities in the airline industry. Prior to the launch of JetBlue, he served on the board of New York Air and, as President and Chief Executive Officer,arranged for its sale to Continental Airlines. He is an investor and Senior Advisor to the OTG Management Group, an airport concession corporation.

Mr. Twill was a member of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee of HMG Worldwide, a marketing and consulting firm. He has also served on the boards of United Waste Systems, where he was Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Finance Committee until its sale to Waste Management. Mr. Twill has been a community activist with the New York Police Department and is currently founding a police foundation in Sarasota, Florida.

Mr. Twill earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Seton Hall University. He graduated with honors and received a Ford Foundation Scholarship. He has served on the President's Council for Seton Hall University and the Tulane University's Parents Council. He has also served as a Director of the YMCA and the Mental Health Association, as well as the Director of Annual Fund-Raising for the Loyola School in New York City.
